Randomness, really.

-I'm not a very good "stay at home" mom. What I mean is, I'm not good at staying at home with Brennan. I get antsy if we stay home even one day. I neeeed to get out, NEEED! Even if it's just to Target or the park. Anyways, I took Brennan to the doctor last Thursday because he was a walking disaster and I figured something must be wrong. He rarely gets fevers or pulls at his ears, so the only way I know he's sick is when he just has meltdowns for every little thing. He had an ear infection. So Thursday and Friday we stayed home and tried to lay low. Ugh. Hated it. Anyone else feel me on this?

-Thankfully he's feeling better this week so we can do our usual routine of playgroups, bible study, MOPS, walking with friends, etc. Did I tell you I'm the new playgroup coordinator for our Lifegroup? We meet once a week at various places, people's houses, the mall, parks, splash pads, etc. It's fun for me to find new areas to meet at and it helps me get to know Houston better.

-This morning, our MOPS table had a Christmas cookie exchange and my husband is officially in sugar heaven. Last year, we had the exchange the day before we flew to Michigan for Christmas, so I gave them all away. This year, they're all ours, ha!!! :)

-Last week, our Bible study (we studied this book) finished up for the year and we all went out to lunch at the Bake Shoppe It's awesome! I snapped a few photos on my cell phone:

Kind of "Texas" in design but I really like it. (see, told you, random post). Is anybody still reading this? Helllo? Hello?

Can you believe Christmas is NEXT week? Holy guacamole. It was 78 degrees here on Saturday, I can't believe Christmas is next Saturday, it's not computing. That's all I have for today. Maybe I'll post some more randomness tomorrow, that is, if anyone is still reading by this point. . .

Me too!

I agree with you, I can't stay home for more than a day. I can't be gone too much either. A little of both is always good.

That's neat that you're a playgroup coordinator!

It doesn't feel like Christmas to me either!

Hey - I'm leaving a comment! Look at me catching up on blogs. : ) All I can say is THANK the Lord you live in Texas and aren't trapped inside in freezing weather with B. We can play OUTSIDE! Love it. : )
BTW - I might get a complex if you keep referring to us as "co-workers" and not "friends." Might need to invite you guys over and over and over until we get upgraded. Ha!

Jen, totally agree, a little bit of both is the best. Nap time helps us stay centered. :)

Cathi- YES, friends! I didn't even realize I said "co-workers"! And I'm so glad you finally commented :)

yep, i fall into depression after one day @ home! That's why i love having a purpose and plan for my days. But when we have to be home, it reminds us to be thankful that most of the time we can get out!
cant wait to see you guys soon!

I read the whole thing - random posts are my favorite:)
I don't stay home much either -- then every once in a while it's nice to have a day where we don't go anywhere, but that's rare:)
Jay says "You're not really a stay-at-home mom, you're a hanging out with B wherever mom":)
