House/MN/BabyBHasReflux/Colic

So much going on, I don't know where to start!

Well, the house has been on the market 1.5 weeks and we've already had three showings, so that's a good sign, right? We still have miscellaneous mini projects to do before I'll really feel like it's ready for showings- we need to re-caulk the tub, paint the trim on the side door, paint the trim on two side windows, etc. We'll get it all done, right honey?? :) I'm trying to convince my brother Andy to buy it, since it's in a central location and he drives everywhere. But he's not biting yet :)

We headed to Champlin, Minnesota last weekend to see the Zuberts! We rented a van with our inlaws because there was no way four adults and a car seat were going to survive a 10 hour trip in either our CRV or their Accord. We had a great time seeing them and catching up! We were able to see the local fair (was it a fair??), watch fireworks from their back porch, head to a sweet children's resale shop (I rarely buy his clothes new), and had a great pool party for Westin's 2nd birthday! Thank you Mark and Erin for hosting all of us!! Your child is such a sweetheart!! I love how much he loves Brennan- he's going to be a GREAT big brother!

On the baby front (a 4 month update is coming!!), we've had a rough go at it. No, no, rough isn't the right word. We've had a horrible last couple of weeks. I wont get into it, but we've recently switched him from Zantac to Prevocid (did I tell you he was diagnosed with GERD?), switched him to a four hour routine and I've cut out eating all dairy. All in hopes that things get a little smoother for us. Poor baby. Poor mom and dad!! It was not a smart idea to take a refluxy/colicky baby on a 10 + hour road trip last weekend and both of our nerves were SHOT afterwards. Can anybody say MELTDOWNS!! Were travelling AGAIN next weekend so we are praying things get a little bit more under control before then. The good thing about all of us- we've never prayed more in our lives or relyed on Christ more. I've also never cried more in my LIFE, if that tells you anything.

OK ok, I have tons of photos of this weekend and Brennan and all his cuteness (he's SO cute despite his monsterness :), but I can't find our camera cord. Since putting our house on the market and decluttering (which is a good thing, don't get me wrong), we can't find anything around this place!!!

Have a good one!!

Aww, I'm sorry you've been dealing with GERD! How horrible! He is an adorable baby, though. Keep posting pictures!

Also, I'm so not in the loop. Why are you selling the house? Where do you hope to move? Back to GR??? :-)

I did the do dairy thing with Sydney, that alone is stressful. Just FYI that I have learned since then... Oreos and Garadelli chocolate chips (one of their types) are non-dairy. Got to keep the Momma happy! We have been praying for you, would love an update...
